Happy Martin Luther King Day and 2011! Sorry it has been so long since I last wrote (in 2010).
Back in good old Summer '09, I wrote a Blog entry on the old The E Club, since Luigi was in the New York Times Crossword Puzzle of that day. If I remember correctly, the clue was "Brother of Nintendo's Mario". Who wouldn't be able to figure that one out? Too bad I accidentally deleted the original entry.
So, in today's NY Times Crossword (January 17, 2011), I saw another clue about Luigi. It said something like, "Video game Mario's brother". It basically says the same thing, right? So, why did I post this entry all along?
Right next to that clue, there was another clue, that said something like, "Adventure with Captain Kirk". Wow! A Mario clue and a Star Trek clue...right next to each other! It took me a while to figure out that clue, but I realized the answer was "Trek". It's weird...two clues that had to do with what The E Club was all about...
